Sometimes it hits us like a brick: That breath shortening, anxiety inducing feeling that we should be doing sooo much more – and ideally, with grace.

It’s so easy to look at where we’re at right now, then look up to the women we admire and see nothing but the big gap between where they are, and where we’re feeling stuck right now (If you suffer from comparisonitis, read Why You Can’t Be Marie Forleo Just Yet).

This can trigger us to do all kinds of mad things, like…

Doesn’t that make you wanna curl up in bed and drown underneath a ton of blankets? So obviously frantically trying to stuff even more onto our already crammed to-do list doesn’t make us feel good. And frankly, it doesn’t work either.

So if we shouldn’t try to get all practical and fiddle with our to-do list, how do we deal with ALL THE THINGS and stop feeling so damn lost & behind on everything?

We’ll lets focus on a few truths that will help you catch your breath and let go off some of the pressure:

3 Gentle Reminders for Lost Women

When you feel like you should be doing more, like you’re not good enough and will never get there, remember these soulful lessons:

You’re right where you need to be.

Ever looked at your past and realized that all the messy things that had you feeling like you had nothing figured out actually made perfect sense in retrospect? This is the case right now, too. Go ahead, trust & find some comfort in this.

Whenever I try to push and force things to happen and notice myself getting exhausted & hopeless, I remind myself that I’m right where I need to be and that going easy on myself is always better than burning myself out. Sometimes I’ll mutter it to myself over and over when things get really bad: “You’re right where you need to be… right where you need to be. It’s all good.”

You got this

Yup, you totally do. Even if it all feels messy right now, you have what it takes to figure out the next steps and move forward.

You know best what’s best for you

This is your life and your unique situation, and no online expert or inspiration of yours, no matter how awesome & credible they are, can make decisions for you. So get away from your laptop, retreat a little and ask yourself ‘what’s next?’ Because only you know the answer.

In the end, it all comes down to trusting yourself.

Please take a deep breath, maybe give yourself a smile and remember: You’re right where you need to be, you got this and you know what is best for you.

It’ll be much easier to decide what to do next with a little peace of mind & some trust in your belly.
